DESTINATION VIETNAM – ASEAN TOURSIM FORUM (ATF) 2019
After the ATF 2019, I spent a few days to explore Ha Long Bay and found luxury bed down (with the courtesy of the GM FLC Hotel) at the new-in-town FLC Grand Hotel – the high end hotel, which stands out the best among the hotels in the city. Most of the hotels in Ha Long are local brand (including FLC Ha Long) except for only one world brand hotel.
Located on a hillock, the 649 room FLC Grand Hotel comprises of a state of the art Conference Center, a professional Golf Course and 301 independent villas under construction.
My spacious room on the 5th floor with all the 5-star amenities defined a new level in comfort and luxury, and offered a superb view of the Hotel and the large Infinity Pool with the scenic Ha Long city by the Bay, in the distance.
The hotel served as the venue for ASEAN Tourism Conference, ATF 2019 Opening Ceremony, Tourism Ministers Press Conference and ATF 2019 Closing Ceremony and the delegates had a festive time at one of the Hotel’s 9 restaurant & bars. The creative chef dished out tongue smacking palatable cuisines at the International buffet on the 3rd floor, including some of the regional favorites with a delightful dessert corner, and a variety of juices and beverages including Vietnamese coffee.
The Hotel’s common areas including the lobby has an overall appeal to indulge into a classy lifestyle with its stylish interior created in natural colors, which sets a relaxing mood the moment you step into the Hotel.
FLC Hotels and Resorts is a local high end 5-star brand with other hotels in Vietnam including FLC Quy Nhon Beach and Golf Resort, FLC Samson Beach and Golf Resort, FLC Luxury Resort Vinh Phuc.
