FEASTivity – Bangkok, Thailand FEAST – RESTAURANT & BAR
I am taking a stroll along the center of Sukhumvit Road, scanning for an appealing eatery. At a pretty looking corner with a small rock garden, by the entrance of the restaurant, I see a signpost “FEAST” that caught my attention and I walk towards the reception desk.
While chatting with the lovely friendly host, I found that I just discovered the newest lifestyle restaurant in the center of the capital that opened in mid 2019.
The exterior, with a few stylish tables in an open space, feast the eye with the lavender flower-like bail hanging on the wall to ceiling.
My host, accompanied with colourful squawking parrots, showed me into the sparkling main dining hall, lavishly adorned for a relaxed and experiential dining experience.
Although new in town, Feast has already become a favourite for private party throwers and visiting gourmands. The restaurant is complemented with a bar.
As I asked for Chef’s recommendation, I am told that the new menu was underway (by Mid February, 2020), which will bring the “Peter Luger” style steak to Thailand for the very first time with the added smoking in the egg and much more.
And so, I settled for, what was available and selected vegetarian Truffle Pizzas, and another one – Wild Mushroom Pizza topped with rocket salad. The pizzas were perfectly baked with fresh ingredients; light and healthy – just what I had craved for an appetizing dinner in a delightful atmosphere. After 8PM, the place becomes more cheerful with acoustic live band.
Centrally located on 1 Soi (street) Sukhumvit 13, just a few minute walk from Nana BTS (Sky-train terminal), Feast can host about 60 diners – ideal for business meeting lunches and while evenings can get busy, it is not a bad idea to book a table at 092-494-1591.
