COSMOPROF – CBE ASEAN, IMPACT-Bangkok 15 – 17 September 2022

It was a wrap-up on a note of successfully held, the 1st edition of Cosmoprof China Beauty Expo (CBE) ASEAN spread over 3 days from15 to 17 September 2022 at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand – linked to Ibis Hotel with a sky bridge and frequent shuttle service around the arena.

Cosmoprof replaced the Beyond Beauty ASEAN show that successfully held until 2019, A perfect venue for the COSMOPROF ASEAN to enter the fast-growing market in the region, the Cosmoprof network worldwide event was organized by BolognaFiere, Informa  and China Beauty Expo (CBE), a new alliance for new projects and business opportunities in the area, which offered new insights and inspirations to the beauty sector, combining the expertise of the world’s leading beauty trade show organizers.

About 300+ exhibitors and brands from some 50 countries, local and international media and some 8,000 trade and consumer visitors explored latest in beauty industry in exhibition space of over 10,000 square meters.

Opening Ceremony

Cosmoprof 2022 kicked off with the ribbon cutting Opening Ceremony graced by state representative from TCEB (Senior V.P. khun Puripan Bunnag); Federation of Thailand Industries (Chairman khun Kruengtin); Ministry of Commerce (Deputy P.M. khun Jurin Laksanavisit) and event organizers and other dignitaries.

Thailand boasts to lead in the wellness and Beauty Industry in the ASEAN region and therefore served a natural gateway to South-East Asia’s expanding beauty industry.   According to khun Jurin, Thailand’s health, wellness and beauty care Industry amounts in the tune of 220 million baht.

According to Gianpiero Calzolari, President of BolognaFiere – “With this new project, Cosmoprof confirms its role as the most strategic partner for beauty stakeholders interested in new international markets. This event is strategic for our stakeholders that we must provide the best and safest conditions to enjoy business.”

 There couldn’t be an abode more agreeable than the Ibis Bangkok IMPACT. Value for money – this modern bed-down, just a stone throw from the doors of IMPACT-the largest Exhibition venue in Bangkok and one of the top 5 in S.E.Asia.  Ibis Bangkok IMPACT boasts a total of 587 rooms, which comes in a category of two spacious room types: Queen and Twin-bed. Each room equipped by comfortable bed, large screen TV, mini bar, in-room coffee and tea making facility. On arrival, welcome drink is delightfully prepared with Apple juice, Rosehip, pomegranate. 

The Taste on the 3rd floor is a spacious dining hall that accommodates about 500 seats and has a generous variety at the international buffet breakfast to kick start an active day. A variety of fruit juices and hot beverages as starters, cereal, selected jams; the buffet lay out has a salad bar, assorted eggs, international favorites including noodles, vegetable and breakfast sausage. The Taste restaurant is well lit with high ceiling and natural light from large windows for a satisfied morning experience.

GROOVE & GREENS Café in the Lobby Lounge offers an inspiring plant based selection from OmniFoods. OmniMeat was launched by OmniFoods, established by a Food Scientist team in Canada, creating nutritionally superior analogue, comprising proprietary blend of plant-based protein from Pea Protein, Non-GMO Soy, Shiitake Mushroom and Rice, delivering 12.5 grams of protein per serving.
